Good afternoon, savvy savers! This afternoon I wanted to bring to you another book review for the novel I just finished, The Mother of Gardens Book One: The Redeemer’s Tale (Volume 1), by LP James. This book, in the tradition of the Lord of the Rings, Beowulf, and Shikasta, bring the readers inside a nightmare parallel world, eons from our own decade, but so strikingly similar to our own culture, and its uncanny in comparison. The book centers on a time where order is perverted, ravenous, and all consuming. The human race becomes pawn to the eternal struggle of good and evil, while the entire Universe being so self-exile, and moves  into the abyss. This opening instalment of volume one, give the reader a litany of gods and goddesses; tyrants and dictators, magi, watchers, sinister servants, and all sorts of magnificently of malevolence soldiers and seers. Into this darkness, a child, the story’s protagonist, grows into a man and must force ahead to recreate a world of hope and fortitude.
