Hello again, savvy savers! I wanted to share with you a new way to make a few extra dollars while running your weekly errands! Get paid to check product inventory, called “gigs,” at local merchants with Gigwalk!
This is an app which is available for both Android and ios platforms for free.
To get started, set up a simple profile for yourself. The app will find your location using GPS and identify available gigs near you. These gigs will usually pay an average of $7-$12 each, however payouts may be higher depending on the gig. When you’re browsing gigs you can see a variety of stores and types of jobs available to you.
There are gigs available in all 50 states, but the highest concentrations of jobs are in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco and Miami. Most gigs are simple product audits; you’re asked to go to a specific store to see if a particular product is in stock and displayed appropriately. The app is able to verify that you’re at the right place, via GPS, and by the few pictures you’ll take to identify the store and product. Each gig will require you to upload product photos in-store, and there is no limit to the amount of gigs you can finish in a day. To learn more about this app, click here!
