Good evening, my fellow savvy savers! I just wanted to bring to your attention an email I received this afternoon from a regional manager for the Vowell’s Market (formerly the Piggly Wiggly chain) and Cash Saver Chain, as they are under the same umbrella family of stores, there coupon policy!
The note read as such:
“At our Cash Saver stores, we honor the face value of coupons. At our Vowell’s Marketplace and Vowell’s Fresh Market locations, we double coupons up to $.50 (not to exceed the retail price of an item) for all items except alcohol and tobacco products.
Thank you very much for your patronage!
Todd, Regional Manager”
So, by this message I would gather that the chain will accept manufactures coupons, but not printables any longer (from personal expereince), but will maintain the double coupon policy implimented by the former Piggly Wiggly. Though they no longer have an official corporate coupon policy, I would recommend that all frequent coupon shoppers of these chains write your local managers, online or in-store, and once you receive information, print this and be sure to carry this in your coupon binder while shopping in-store.
Here’s to couponing!
